As a Credit Analyst at LoanBud, Eric partners with Loan Officers to engineer and execute complex commercial lending transactions. Spearheading a robust pipeline of projects ranging from $1MM to $10MM and above, he architects deal strategy and defines capital requirements for both acquisition and non-acquisition files.
Eric leverages his skill set in Accounting and Quality of Earnings (QoE) in Mergers & Acquisitions to quantify cash flow durability and transaction viability. His deal experience encompasses Business Acquisitions, Expansion, Partner Buyouts, CRE purchases, Construction, Leasehold Improvements, Startups, Debt Consolidation, Equipment purchases and Working Capital – often integrating multiple transaction components into a single, cohesive financing structure. Eric frequently constructs sophisticated capital stacks that integrate SBA financing with Asset-Based Lending (ABL) facilities to address complex, multifaceted liquidity needs.
By identifying potential credit friction points early, Eric optimizes deal positioning to facilitate a smoother transition to the credit review process. He solidifies challenging files to ensure they withstand rigorous underwriting scrutiny and move efficiently from origination to final funding.
Originally from Taiwan, Eric is driven by empowering entrepreneurs to reach their next milestone. He finds it truly rewarding to see clients successfully complete an acquisition or grow their businesses. Outside of the office, Eric is a dedicated dog enthusiast and a basketball and pickleball player currently on a break – though you might still find him back on a court some day soon.
